CAMPING

Hello everyone, it is very difficult for me to speak about this topic, since, I have never camped, but I will tell you about my closest experience with nature.

Every year (from about 5 years ago) I travel with my family on vacation to a place called Lautaro (located bear Temuco), where my family has lands. This place is the closest to camping for me, since, it is located in the middle of nature (in the middle of nowhere), far from town and farther from the city (it is just countryside), where my family has a kind of hundred-percent cabin made of wood and wood-burning stove and has not bathroom, but has something known as a “latrine” and water for different uses must be collected a well.

This is a really beautiful place for mi, especially at night because, being away from city, at night the stars seemed to be only a few meters high, as if they were attainable, adding to this the large number of fireflies that you can be found, which uncoil the dark paths through the trees or a foster that is a few meters from house, is really magical. For other place, everything we cook is done in the wood stove or in fires that sometimes with much precaution we realize by the fires that occur in the summer.

Although maybe, I have not slept in a tent, I think my vacation experience is very similar to camping (so I’ve talked to other people who have camped, buy maybe I don´t know it until I do it myself.
